Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30th July 2025

Welcome to this website, operated by Arabella Tanyel. By browsing or purchasing through this site, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Overview

This website is hosted on Squarespace. Orders are processed as follows:

  • Books are purchased via a linked Shopify store and fulfilled by Bookvault

  • Merchandise is purchased directly on this website and fulfilled by Printful

Email communications, including newsletters, are managed via Zoho Mail.

2. Orders & Fulfilment

Books

Book orders are placed through Shopify and fulfilled by Bookvault, who handle printing and shipping.

Merchandise

Merchandise orders are placed on this website and fulfilled by Printful, who handle production and shipping.

All items are fulfilled using print-on-demand services. This means that each item is only printed or produced when ordered — helping to reduce unnecessary printing, minimise waste, and lower environmental impact.

3. Payment & Pricing

All prices are in GBP (£).

  • Book payments are processed securely via Shopify.

  • Merchandise payments are processed securely on this website via Squarespace.

4. Shipping

Shipping times and rates vary depending on the product ordered, the print-on-demand provider fulfilling it, and the destination country:

  • Books are fulfilled by Bookvault and shipped via their delivery partners.

  • Merchandise is fulfilled by Printful, who ship using their global logistics network.

You will receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched. Please note that as all items are made-to-order, delivery times may be longer than standard retail orders — typically between 5–14 business days, but this can vary depending on your location and the fulfilment provider.

5. Returns & Refunds

All items are made-to-order. If your item is damaged or faulty, please contact me within 14 days of receiving it. Replacements or refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Charity Donations

For every book purchased, £2 will be donated to charity. Customers can choose whether their order supports Mind (a UK mental health charity) or Friends of the Earth (an environmental organisation). If no preference is selected at checkout, the donation will be automatically allocated in a way that supports both charities equally over time.

Donations are made from the proceeds of each sale and are not eligible for Gift Aid.

More information about these charities and how they align with the project’s values can be found on the Charities page.

7. Email Communications

By subscribing to email updates, you agree to receive occasional newsletters via Zoho Mail. You can unsubscribe at any time.
